Strathmore 400 Series Heavyweight Drawing Paper represents one of the most popular papers since 1940. Previously only available in sheets and rolls, Strathmore introduced 5 convenient pad formats of the coveted 100 lb (163 g/m) cream colored paper. All Heavyweight Drawing products feature a medium surface with slightly more texture than the 80 lb. 400 Series Drawing pads. This allows for greater depth of tone, uniform areas of half tones and less mechanical looking cross hatching. This acid-free drawing paper provided a durable surface to withstand repeated erasing and reworking. These wire-bound pads contain 24 sheets of quality paper suited for pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, or sketching sticks.
