This ingenious tool makes enlarging and decreasing the size of your subject to scale, a much easier task. To enlarge, measure your shape with the shorter end. Flip the scale divider over so the large end is on the paper. This indicates the new size of your object. You can repeat the process with all objects in your composition. To decrease, just reverse the process. To set or adjust the scale, just unscrew the scale adjuster, then slide to the desired position and tighten.
